I feel fortunate everyday to have an amazing group of designers working at Harrison’s. They each have their own style, but as with any good designer, can pivot and work with any style the customer wishes. It is the job of a designer to present their client with ideas that they would not have thought of on their own. Our History
Harrison's West Design + Furniture started as an off-shoot of Great Lakes Interiors in Holland and then UBU Furniture in Grand Rapids. But Harrison's West quickly gained its own personality through its use of color and a more casual approach to home furnishings. Harrison's West has become known for quality home furnishings at a reasonable price.
As Harrison's West moves forward, it will be re-created as the premier soft contemporary furniture store in West Michigan. What does soft contemporary mean? It is the look of today and is what just about every magazine features. Soft Contemporary is often referred to as California Contemporary, and is characterized by clean lines, textured fabrics, and easy care finishes.
The staff at Harrison's West are not high pressure salespeople, but rather a team of designers who want to find the right solution for your room rather than selling you what is in-stock.
